1. Remove Winter Tyres

Winter tyres are designed to grip to roads during the freezing and icy winter conditions, however if left on you car over summer, they can cause non-reparable damage that can impact the safety of the vehicle in the winter months ahead. During warmer months, all-season tyres are recommended.

2. Wash & Wax

Get rid of the road salt, mud, dust and grime that can eat away paint and lead to rust. Once washed and dry, finish off with a coat of wax to seal the paint, add a shiny coat and repel water beads to eliminate troublesome water spots.

3. Inside

Show the inside of your car some TLC by hoovering up the road salts from the floors and mats, clean the grime from your seats and wipe away the layer of dust concealed in your dashboard.

4. Clear Out the Clutter

Sometimes your car can act as a general storage facility housing everything from empty coffee cups, to winter shovels. Find another storage space for these items and see the lighter load improve your vehicle’s fuel economy rating.

5. Annual Service

Spring is a wonderful time for some general maintenance on your vehicle. Test to see if your headlights and taillights are in working order, change wiper blades if they have been worn out during the winter snow and ice, and check the alignment has not suffered from wintery bumpy roads and pot holes.
